The Power of Multilingual Learning in Early Childhood
Language enrichment reflects our commitment to whole-child development—embracing multiple languages, culture, and Jewish identity as essential parts of early childhood education.
English remains the core language of instruction, ensuring children build a strong foundation while exploring additional languages.

Hebrew Language & Jewish Learning
Hebrew language and Jewish tradition are thoughtfully integrated into every classroom experience at Alef Preschool.
Through songs, stories, daily prayers, holiday celebrations, and hands-on activities, children encounter Hebrew in a natural and meaningful way.
This consistent exposure allows language learning to feel joyful and authentic while deepening each child’s connection to Jewish culture, values, and identity.
Hebrew is integrated into all classrooms alongside English instruction, so it complements the core language.

Daily Language Immersion Choice: Hebrew or Russian
In addition to the schoolwide Hebrew integration and regular English instruction, families may choose a daily language-focus option for their child—Hebrew or Russian, allowing for dedicated time each day to deepen skills in the chosen language. Children spend dedicated time each day immersed in the language their family selects.
This focused immersion goes beyond general exposure and allows children to build stronger listening skills, vocabulary, and confidence through consistent conversation, music, storytelling, and interactive play.
Both language-focus options are thoughtfully designed with the same educational goals in mind: to support age-appropriate language acquisition in a nurturing, engaging environment. Whether families choose Hebrew or Russian, children benefit from intentional daily immersion while continuing to participate fully in Alef Preschool’s rich, multilingual and culturally meaningful program.
English remains the main language of instruction throughout the day, while the chosen language provides focused daily enrichment, giving children a rich, multilingual experience without reducing their mastery of English.
